Red Wing Chevrolet was established in 1994. It is still a locally owned and operated business. We answer to you, the customer, not a corporation.

Many of our employees are from or around Red Wing, MN. You may see a familiar face when you are here. Our dealership takes pride in the fact that our employees are members of this community. Many of our employees are involved in community activities right here in Red Wing.

Our technicians are ASE certified. They have taken training and have completed testing required by General Motors. We won’t let just anyone work on your vehicle.

We have selection. We have availability of over 140 new vehicles! You can test drive many different makes and models! We offer new Chevrolet’s, Cadillac’s and Buicks. This gives you the opportunity to view different GM products all in one stop.

We have won, as a dealership, the Mark of Excellence Award for 2 years in a row.  This award recognizes our excellent customer service, growth in sales and rates us against other dealerships in our region. This one is a pretty big deal. Not every dealership receives this award and you have to be top notch to get it.

We are open on Saturdays for service from 8 – Noon. Our Parts Department is open those same hours.

The parts department has access to just about every part for your vehicle and can usually provide it on the spot…or at least within 24 hours. Let’s be honest, most GM vehicles on the road today. It would be impossible to stock EVERY part.

We take trades. This may be the obvious one but sometimes I hear the comment “I didn’t know you took trades”. We need YOUR car and are offering top dollar for it. You have the car with the story behind it…one owner trade, you’re local, it was your first car…etc…we need that car!

Me. Sure - why buy if SHE works there. For one, I’ve worked here for 12 years, that must say something about this dealership in itself. I drive one hour to get here and one hour back home daily. I’m from a part of Minnesota where I drive past multiple dealerships, every day. I sit in the office on the corner of the building. I am right where the used cars, new cars and certified cars are delivered to customers. As I write this there’s chatter on the show-floor. I am hearing a casual conversation between a salesman and a customer who in thinking of buying a new Cadillac SRX. The customer is happy, asking questions and the salesman is explaining features and benefits to them. I think to myself, that’s how we all want to be treated. Someone is listening, someone is explaining and someone is caring. If you read our reviews you will see a lot of comments on this. No pressure, easy to work with and great salesperson!

We recently announced the employee of the month for March.
I'd like to take just a minute to explain what goes into being chosen for this honor.

First, you did something above and beyond what is expected in your normal day to day duties as a technician, parts advisor, service advisor, office staff member or as a sales person. Second, someone else noticed you doing this and nominated you. How great is that!

The best part is reading the nominations. There are many good things happening around the dealership, when your fellow co-workers notice it, it really has to be a nice feeling.

The challenge is choosing the employee of the month. There are discussions every month before that person is chosen and sometimes it's a very tough choice to choose that one person that stood out the most.

For the month of March that person was Mike Moseman. Mike is a very new salesperson here at the store. I think he's been here 4 months, maybe less. He takes time out of his day to pick up garbage around the dealership that blows in from who knows where. Would I do this on my own time...I don't know, honestly, probably not. Mike does. He also takes the time to drive just about every vehicle on the lot. He will notice any tick or noise and report to the service department the details on that particular vehicle. Would I do that? Would I have time to do that? Mike does.

So, congratulations Mike Moseman! Employee of the Month- job well done.

RED WING CHEVROLET TO HOST CHEVY PRO NIGHT ON APRIL 17

 

RED WING, Minn. — Red Wing Chevrolet, located at 2500 Hwy. 61 W will host Chevy Pro Night from 6-8 p.m. CT on Tuesday, Apr. 17.   Fishing fans and Chevy enthusiasts are encouraged to come out for an evening of fun at the dealership.  Chevy Pro Night will feature appearances by Chevy pro Jason Przekurat, Walmart pro Dean Arnoldussen, Kellogg’s pro Brian Brosdahl, EverStart pro Dan Stier and Dr. Pepper pro John Balla.  Chevy Pro Night will be held the Tuesday prior to the National Guard FLW Walleye Tour tournament taking place on the Mississippi River in Red Wing, Minn., Apr. 19-21. 

 

The anglers will be signing autographs, sharing fishing stories and posing for photos with fans in attendance during the two-hour event at Red Wing Chevrolet.  The anglers scheduled to appear have combined for six wins and 46 top-10 finishes in FLW competition, and the group’s career earnings total over $1.3 million.

 

Attendees will have a chance to test their casting skills during the event where they can also register onsite for the opportunity to win FLW hats, rod & reel combos and other great prizes.  You must register and be present during the drawing to win.

 

Red Wing Chevrolet Buick Cadillac is happy to announce that Scott Hegseth has been promoted to New Car Sales Manager.

Scott has been a sales person at Red Wing Chevrolet for 9 years.

He was born and raised right here in Red Wing.  Scott has the ability to work with people and understands how to fulfill their needs. This is what made him a great sales person.

In his free time he enjoys time on his boat with family and friends, golfing, going to Minnesota Twins games and spending time in the community.

He is President of the Central League Bowling league, plays church league softball and donates time to the Red Wing Aces.

Being involved in the community is a large part of Scott’s life. 

Red Wing Chevrolet and myself would like to congratulate Scott Hegseth on this big promotion!

 

Great news!
We will once again sponsor the Red Wing Youth Baseball teams here in town. This is the 3rd year we have done this in partnership with General Motors.
I just received an email today that the equipment packages have been shipped and are on their way here! That's exciting!

When the equipment arrives the teams will receive TEN boxes each containing equipment bags, a baseball bucket, whiffle balls and 15 T-Shirts in each package...that's 150 T-shirts total! PLUS they will receive 2 batting tee's and a batting net.

Fundraiser tickets will also be available for sale this year. Find your nearest baseball rep and support the team. Don't look for them quite yet though... that's later in the spring they'll have those tickets available.

Did I mention they will also receive a check for $500? They can use this towards anything they will need for the league.
